McChesney Northshore Acres
The Royal Canadian Legion built the original, seasonal, cabins on this property in 1952. Bob and Isabelle McChesney wisely purchased this property back in 1969 with the intention of leaving their family a legacy through land. Bob McChesney has been honoured as a member of the Order of Canada for his work as a President of the Royal Canadian Legion and Isabelle was his loyal partner in traveling the world and representing Canada. Together they raised four children as leaders in education and justice and each one of them has enriched this property and ensured that wish for a legacy through land became a reality. This land has always been meant as a place to bring people together in making memories and to appreciate the wonder and beauty of the nature you are immersed in here. The family has been enjoying this special place, building family and friendships and conserving and only slightly modernizing it ever since. Here you can enjoy 167 acres, 6 comfortable cottages and over 250 feet of private, sandy beach on the North shore of Round Lake in Northern Ontario, Canada.
