Cottage #1 - Robin's Roost
Cottage #1 Robin's Roost has the added amenity of being tucked over to the edge of the property and so has a bit more space with both a generous front deck and a side patio and gazebo with a BBQ. This is a great choice for those who enjoy grilling outdoors and dining al fresco. The interior dining/living space is slightly smaller with a two person sofa.
This cottage also boasts a full size shower and bathtub for a complete four piece bath. Ample parking is available behind this cottage as well. There is a clear view down to the lake and a lovely full sized sliding glass door to enjoy the lake scenes.

cottage #2 Poplar's place
Cottage #2 Poplar's Place has the amenity of having a pull-out sofa bed which shifts the maximum occupancy from 6 to 8 people. This cottage has a two piece bath (sink and toilet) so is ideal for those who don't mind taking their bath in the lake. This cottage also has a larger dining area and dining room table which seats 6 so is ideal for a larger group for breaking bread (or playing a hand of poker or epic board game together).
Cottage #3 The wild rose
Cottage #3 The Wild Rose: This cottage is not normally available for rent as it is where the 3rd generation McChesney property manager and site host stays for the season. This cottage has a large deck and BBQ where grandma/Auntie/Mom Beverley McChesney Rumble can often be seen cooking up a meal for family members and friends.
When you first arrive to McChesney Northshore Acres Cottage #3 is where you should head to check-in, pay the remaining 50% of the rental fee, and receive your receipt. Bev is often on site or reachable by phone if you have a question during your stay. She was a SuperHost before the term was ever invented and while she is loaded with Northern Ontario hospitality and charm she will allow you to complete your stay in as much solitude and peace as you would like.

However if you were planning a larger event and required more space for a large booking it could be made available with sufficient notice. This cottage also has a two piece bath (toilet and sink). This cottage has a principal bedroom with a double bed and a second bedroom with two twin beds and comfortably sleeps four. Cottage #5: Sunset Scene - This cottage has one of the larger kitchen and living room areas with a dining table that seats six, and a picnic table situated right outside the front door. There is also a shower available in this unit for a three piece bath. This cabin is only about a 50m stroll to the granite point on site which is an ideal spot for casting for a few fish, campfires and stargazing and is also a mere 40m stroll down to the beach. Head about 100m out onto the back field for horseshoes, lawn sports, or some volleyball/badminton. It is up to you :) Ample parking is available behind this cottage as well.
cottage #6 Heron's Hideaway
Cottage #6 Heron's Hideaway: This cabin is the final cabin in the row of cottages so has a bit more privacy and space available. This is the only cottage without bunk beds. There are two bedrooms with double beds, a pull out sofa/futon in the living room and another full length sofa in the living room to potentially sleep 7 people. This cottage also has a smaller fire pit surrounded by Muskoka chairs right out front, a picnic table, BBQ, and easy access to head down to the granite point for fishing, stargazing and larger campfires. The views from the lake facing windows are tranquil and you have no neighbours to one side of you.
This cottage also boasts a three piece bath, larger dining and kitchen area with a dining table that seats 6. This cottage is ideal for a larger family group looking to have some quality time together with a bit more space to spread out.
